Valentino is very similar in nature to the twinz.
he hardly ever cries, and even at six weeks he smiles a lot.


we've taken the side of antonio's cot away again, and he's finally learnt to stay in bed and not jump on Leonardo.
for the last 3 nights theyve both stayed in their cots and fallen asleep before 10minutes (after mama reads them a santa story)

so its smiles all 'round

too much energy

whatever we do with the kidz is lots of fun, but they particularly like it when we do things outside...like going to playgrounds, the beach etc


they love to walk as much as we do too, which is great, cos last weekend they walked about two hours with us around town to visit cool places like toyworld, kircaldies Xmas display, the park, etc etc,
... and then still had enough energy to go to a school gala.

having beds was too much fun for antonio, so he's back to a cot for a few days...
leonardo didnt enjoy being jumped on when he was falling asleep. :-)

so now theyre back to falling asleep in 5 minutes...leonardo on a bed and antonio learning hes got to learn to stay there too.

a few days ago they flew their first kite,which was so exciting they still talk about it. :-)

progress

last night the twinz took one and a half hour to get to sleep in their new beds, compared to 5 minutes in the old cot. luckily they only took 20 minutes for their afternoon nap today, so i think they're learning.

toilet training is still a bit random, but Antonio did his first number 2 in the big toilet so he got three stickers which apparently is a lot better than the single sticker Leonardo got for doing a number 1 :-)


Valentino just likes to eat, sleep, and look cute.

big boyz

for the last couple of days we have been leaving the twinz in undies instead of nappies during the afternoon. yes, they have begun toilet training!

they know they are supposed to go wees in the "big boy" toilet because they tell us...
but they still choose to wet their undies instead :-)

hopefully they'll get the hang of it soon.

tonight we have also converted the twinz cots into beds, so it will be interesting to see how long it takes them to work out they can now get up anytime they want to.

they grow up so fast!

disappearing twins...

yesterday we went to the warehouse in lyall bay..which is huge.

Valentino in the pram, and the twinz walking as usual since they have preferred to walk rather than sit in the pram for as long as I can remember.

they are usually very good at listening and staying close to us in case they get lost, and today was no different.

until all of a sudden they did one of those telephatic twin things, and simultaneously decided to run off at full speed... in opposite directions!

so off we run trying to catch them before they destroy the shop.

after 30 seconds we get Antonio, but we have no idea where Leonardo got to.
I think hes bound to be hiding, as thats his favourite new game.
so we keep looking but after a couple of minutes he still hasnt shown up.

i start to worry maybe he ran outside, so go have a look, but the guard says he didnt see him, but he'll check the video camera for us anyway.
we keep looking, and about 10 minutes have gone by by now. Carole is very worried and i start to think maybe someone has grabbed him or something. we look through the whole shop but cant find him!

then out of a door by the checkouts, an employee has him by the hand coming towards us. Leonardo looks very guilty and avoids eye contact.

Turns out he had gone up a flight of concrete steps to the first floor where the workers had found him and he had been painting pictures with them because they had thought it was too dangerous to send him back down the stairs.

next time we go out hes wearing a leash!

I'm back

Hi, welcome back :-)

I ran out of space a while ago on my original site, so I've decided to start this blog to put up pictures of the boyz, and whatever else comes into my mind.
(or should that be out of my mind?)

...hmmm Im confused already and I've only just begun!
