identical sick
It's funny how our twinz even get sick together.
at the start of June, Leonardo had a bit of a cold...then a few days later he woke with a fever of 40 degrees, but Pamol brought it down, and at Playcenter became very lathargic. We took him doctor, and they sent him to hospital, where he was diagnosed with pneumonia, put on a drip with antibiotics, and he spent the night.
It was scary how quickly it all happened, and we have no idea why it turned so bad.

At the hospital, I asked if it was likely that Antonio would get it also. The doctor said its unlikely, but with identical twins anything is possible.
Well, after about 3 weeks, Antonio started getting a fever of 40 degrees also, we took him doctor and they said it was just a virus. Ater a few days of fever we took him hospital, where they prescribed oral antibiotics and sent him home.
But the next day his lips started turning blue, and we went back to Hospital. They couldnt figure out what was wrong and the high continual fever made them think it was Kawasaki Disease, where you need a full blood transfusion!
They observed him for 4 days at hospital, he was on oxygen and getting sicker all the time, but eventually they said it was also pneumonia and they put him on an antibiotic drip like leonardo and he recovered really fast after that. In total he spent 6 nights in hospital where it should have really been only one!
I ended up having a bad flu at the same time, so we guess it must have been the flu virus that caused them to get so sick.
